Ce chiffre représentait 80% des pertes subies par la Wehrmacht sur tous les fronts depuis le déclenchement de l’invasion de l’Union soviétique. En termes relatifs, les unités combattantes sur le front russe avaient subi des pertes encore plus importantes« . O.
