Cela fait-i partie d’un rite ?

●Mud sports festival held in Fukushima

People enjoyed playing volleyball and other sports in the mud in Fukushima

Prefecture, northeastern Japan.

The festival was held in the town of Hanawa on Sunday

In the volleyball competition, over 50 people in 13 teams took part. They

included local people and those who returned home for the Buddhist Bon holiday.

The participants became soaked in the mud as they went after the ball.

A 38-year-old man from Kanagawa Prefecture said he has taken part in the event

every year, but he still finds it difficult to play in the mud. He said he wasn’t

concerned about the radiation levels.
